 Here at Umi Smog, we test vehicle year models 2000 and above. We are a test only location. Smog checks are required every other year. Your registration renewal notice will specify near the top what type of smog check you are needed to complete. Vehicle models 8 years and newer are exempt unless you are transferring a title it is always required. Our policy is a free retest within 30 days for a result of failure or not ready.
